About

My name is Iana Buch-Hansen. I've been a practitioner of sustainable (slow, simple, minimalist, frugal, and zero-waste) living since 2010. I've been writing about it publicly since 2022 (link to my autoethnography Being of Deep Transformations). I've also been researching sustainable business since 2016 (link to my scholarly works). For a long time, it's been my dream to run my own small zero-waste space, which is at once a zero-waste shop (selling, as much as possible, local products), a swap shop (where fellow humans can bring and take items free of charge, with a focus on zero-waste and children's items - I intend to start with my own and hope that fellow humans will do the same) and a workshop space where knowledge about sustainable living and many aspects of it can be shared freely. I called it Refillery Copenhagen. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I felt that now is the right time for the birth of this space, too :) On this page, Refillery Copenhagen, I will be documenting my journey in a transparent and publicly available way, so that fellow humans can step on similar paths, if they so wish.
